The plateform is currently available in beta version and provides the servers for the following games

• games.tuxfamily.net
• nexuiz - version 1.2.1 (disabled for temporary instability)
• Cube - version 20050829 (disabled as the license does not seem free enough)
• tetrinet
• Battle for Wesnoth - version 1.2.1 NEW
• FreeCiv - version 2.0.6
• warsow - version 0.12 (disabled as datas are _not yet_ free :-( )
• bzflag - version 2.0.4
• NetPanzer - version 0.8.1 (disabled, not stable enough :-( )
• OpenArena - version 0.60 NEW

Presentation

The games available are proposed from a selection of those available freely with GNU/Linux.

Most clients are available in GNU/Linux distributions :

• use your preferred packaging sytem (apt, urpmi, yast, emerge, ...)
• in some cases, the client is only given with full game, each game description should precise it
• for those under windows or Mac OS/X, clients are sometimes available, but you'd better use GNU/Linux ;-)

games.tuxfamily.net is hosted by the following server :

• games.tuxfamily.net
• bi-pentium III 1 Ghz / 1 GB RAM
• internet connection : 100 Mbits/s shared
• ping : 45ms to 120 ms (generally about 60 ms)
• installed system : Debian GNU/Linux Sarge
